Play House School, established in 1998, aims to provide a safe and secure environment for the young minds of Lucknow. It was founded by Captain L.D. Dhondiyal, Mr. Sarwar Husain and Mrs. Rafat Husain along with a team of prominent educationists- Mr. B.D. Sanwal (Indian Civil Services), Mrs. F Keelor (former Principal of La Martiniere Girls’ College, Lucknow) and Wing Commander Narain (Retd.). Play House School, Lucknow is situated in Hazratganj, the heart of the city, on a lush green acre of open land, free from noise and pollution. This area provides a natural and informative atmosphere for the holistic development of children.

At Play House School, we follow a balanced curriculum for all students. Our focus is on a variety of topics, from recognition of the alphabet, numbers and objects to muscular development for handwriting. We also help the students become aware of their environment with outdoor nature-based learning, emphasising on experiencing the world around them. Our aim is to assist the students in expressing themselves and help them develop a sense of etiquette and respect for elders. We also pay great heed to fostering a healthy communication between the students and teachers as well as with the parents by conducting regular Parent-Teacher Meetings.
