Curriculum

At Play House School we follow a very vast and balanced curriculum for every child. It comprises of diverse and bracing activities and experiences involving recognition of capital and small letters of the alphabet, numbers and objects associated with them, muscular development to aid the child in writing and to create an awareness of the child's environment regarding flowers, fruits, vegetables, animals, colours and shapes. At Play House School we reassure the use of simple English sentences to help the children express themselves. We help children develop a sense of respect for elders and etiquette to be used on a regular basis. We focus on maintaining a healthy communication between parents and teachers by conducting regular meetings and discuss about specific needs and areas of improvement of an individual. Weekly work and activities are given on Friday to update parents on the work done for the entire week

Play House School offers a wide range of programmes and activities to broaden the children's experiences and develop their interests and abilities.

Audio-Visual Aids of Smart Class

We use audio-visual aids that also contain music and cartoons to keep them entertained. The Audio-Visual aids make learning active in the classroom, enhances the observation capacity of little children, thus making the learning experience more concrete and effective. Audio-Visual aids give clear concepts and thus help to bring accuracy in the child's learning.

Nature Walk and Gardening

Participation in this, brings children closer to their natural environment. This awareness stimulates a natural curiosity, a love of learning, and may initiate a very positive and long-lasting personal connection to our natural environment. Nature is important to children's development in every major way-intellectually, emotionally, socially, spiritually and physically.

Festival Celebration

All important festivals are observed with traditional enthusiasm that give the children a lesson on vast cultural traditions that are a part of our heritage. They learn about how different festivals are celebrated in different religions. Children enjoy learning about the different cultures of their -friends. We emphasize on the cultural aspect of the celebration, rather than the religious element.

Talent-Time

We prepare our children to perform on stage in front of a huge audience.
This not only reveals their inherent talent but it also builds a sense of pride and confidence in them and cultivates many other skills that will continue to be useful to the children throughout their lives.

Pony rides

Pony rides are conducted during the winter season. Horses make wonderful childhood companions. Children are naturally attracted to them. Riding also puts children in touch with nature. They learn to ride and care for an animal. It's a great way to boost their confidence through encouragement and compliments.

Annual Picnic

An Annual Picnic is organized usually to the Zoo where children see and learn about a wide variety of animals. Taekwondo and Yoga Classes: These are the new additions for the academic session 2017-2018 to our long list of activities that we conduct. We have specialized instructors that teach and develop our young ones in these disciplines.

,
